Our funding comes primarily through performance-based grants and private gifts. Our major contributors include: Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County; Florida Department of Education; and United Way of St. Lucie County.

There Are Many Ways to Donate

All help us maintain and expand our work with local children.
Any gift, be it a large cash donation, or small, will make a difference.

Directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee Counties
Donations support our children's programs. It takes dollars to recruit, screen, and support volunteers' efforts with children. And group recreational activities or parties for children need "angels" to help underwrite them.

Vehicle Donations
Do you own a car, truck, boat, or other vehicle that you would be interested in donating to Big Brothers Big Sisters?  Whether your vehicle is operational or not, we will gladly accept your item and arrange to have it towed and sold.  The proceeds from all sales directly support our programs and your donation is tax deductible. (Instructions for reporting this deduction can be found in IRS Publication 526.

Special Event Sponsorships
Support of our special events like A Taste of St. Lucie County or Bowl For Kids Sake, fund the mentoring of local children, highlight our work in the community, and create an awareness of Big Brothers Big Sisters. See our Events Page for more details.
